Several of those are also on my to-read list, but I wanted to share:

Deadline is really good. Depressing, but good. It’s about cancer, not suicide, but you’ll like it anyway.

Violet on the Runway is…well…it’s a lot of fun. I don’t see it winning the Printz award, but if you’re addicted to America’s Next Top Model (like me!) you’ll like it.

One tiny quibble. Cobain spelled his first name with a “d” in his journals. I insisted that the proofreader not fix it.

I am indeed a little behind on the Kare Kano bandwagon, but I ended up waiting until all the volumes were out so I could plow through it then. So there will be lots more to come on that front.
